Hi All,
I have using 1756-HSC with 1500 PPR encoder. I want to calculate motor RPM. How to do this calculation and setup on 1756-HSC module?
Thank you for assistance.
James

Set up the module for Rate/Measurement mode with a sample time of 1 sec. The PresetValue Tag will contain the number of pulses in the 1 sec. sample period. Multiply this value by 60 to get the number of pulses per minute and divide this value by 1500 to get the RPM.

Download the 1756-HSC User Manual HERE for more information on how to configure the module.
