Siemens MP270B Via Modbus

Can Siemens MP 270B Communication with Modbus Protocol?

Is it Required the addtional modbus software/Tools?

Yep. MP270B supports Modbus RTU up to 19200 Baud.
No other software than the configuring software Protool or Win CC Flexible is required.

Note:
In Protool I notice that only the CPU types Modicon 984, 984-785 and TSX quantum are available.
The selected CPU type probably decides the limits to the available memory addresses. If you have another CPU type than the ones that can be seleced, then you must take care to use a memory area that could be used in the CPU you select.
Try to select a CPU and to define some tags. Protool/Win CC Flex will protest if the address is not possible on the selected CPU.
