VB.NET OPC Examples RS Linx

I'm looking to create a VB.net ap that takes data from a slc 5/03. currently I'm using a DDE link with Excel and I would like to try to eliminate the excell and possible do some control with the vb ap. Does anyone know where I could find some examples using RS linx opc server??
