siemens SM 338 card

I have a TR encoder connected to a siemens SM338 card
When i go online to the TR encoder i can see the actual value linear rising when an elevator moves
But when i go to step7 and i get the status of the PIW it's not at al a lineair traject , even changing from sign
Anyone has experience in TR encoders ?

You mave have to swap the high and low bytes, words or both.
Look at the individual bytes of the DWORD and you can see which one is which.

Or you maye have to change the code setting: Gray or Binary.
