Communication Omron PLC with VB

What do I need to communicate with PLC Omron from my PC by Visual Basic?

You need
1) and OPC Server such as this one that will Read/Write data from/to the Omron PLC:

2) An OPC ActiveX client that you can embed in your VB code to talk to the OPC server.

The easiest way is to use the ActiveX control called "Compolet" which can be available from OMRON.

You also need to installed a software called "FinsGateway" which is something like OPC server.

Then, you are ready to communicate with your VB program and OMRON PLC (provided that you configure FinsGateway correctly.)
