Active X Controls WinCC Flex or ProTool

Has anyone used (or made) any active X controls for WinCC Flex or ProTool? What would I have to get to create them? Will active X controls for VB or C# work?

I would like to have more control to edit text files from the HMI. I would also like to create a good way to show reports on the HMI. I think a special Active X control could be the way to do this.

I did see once an ActiveX form a 3rd party for Protool.
It was for making x/y trends.
So it must be possible, but I dont know how they did it.

I did one once to show dynamic bmp pictures on the oppanel. But i dident get the connection with the tags in the panel to work. You will have to use VB6 C# or VB.NET wont work. At least not with Protool. Here is some links with a little more information
