Micrologix - Input Module IQ32 Not an Option (?)

I have a Micrologix 1500 (1764-24BWAR with LRP processor), planning to use input modules 1769-IA32. But when I'm "building" the I/O configuration, the 1769-IQ32 is not listed as an option. (1769-IQ16 is there, and many others)

Any ideas? Is the 1769-IQ32 not compatible with 1500?

Just a guess, but you may have an older version of RSLogix, created before the module was released. You may need to update the software.

The IQ32 is there in Ver 6.3

Thats it! I was on an old PC with an old version. With a newer version, the modules I need are there.

Get that PC upgraded. There is a critical file format change at version 6.3 that will cause you big problems with a certain open/save sequence between versions.

AB has issued an advisory on the problem.
