IM308-C as master with S7-ET200M

Hello,

What should i expect to loose if i parametrize this module (6ES5 308-3UC21) with COM Profibus v3.0 (free of charge version, and i have) when i should use v5.0 (not free, and i have not)? There are loss of performance or data or something? Do you recommend this software?

Interesting question you are asking there....

Why are you expecting an IM308C paramatised with Com Profibus v3.0 to perform any different from one paramatised with Com Profibus v5.1?

There will be no difference in performance, you just need the newer version of Com Profibus to enable the larger GSD files of the newer ET200 modules to be downloaded to the IM308C.
