washdown disconnect

You need at least UL/NEMA4 for washdown, UL/NEMA4X adds corrosion resistance which is better for cleaning solutions.

Many of the smaller non-metallic IEC style disconnects are not UL listed for anything past UL/NEMA 1 or maybe UL/NEMA 12, even though they are IP65 rated. Most of the time this is because of the plastic not passing UL flame/smoke tests.

I have seen Hubbell disconnects in many dairies.
