I want one clarification , What is the role of Scan time in The Empty CPU(without any Programe) in plc...also the programe heve only END Instructions.
 
Its the amount of time taken by the PLC's firmware to update the input image table, outputs, communications, and any other tasks that the PLC requires to be done at a periodic basis.
