Hi
I am a novice in plc world. I would like to communicate over the modbus with AB (Compact Logic, MicroLogic) PLCs with the modbus slave devices. I know Compact Logic, and MicroLogic dont suppport modbus communication unless we use a prosoft module with them. My question is, is there a way we can program in the ladder logic to make Compact Logic or MicroLogic work over modbus without a prosoft hardware. if such a way exist, is there any example code i can play with and try to learn. Any help and suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Modus communication

Hi
Thanks for your replys. So it means there is no software way of implementing a Modbus protocol in Compactlogic without using a Prosoft module.
