Hi,

Has any of you used a "low vibration AC motor". I have to buy one for a spindle drive application on a surface grinder. Could you suggest some manufacturer.

Thanks.

"low vibration" can mean low mechanical vibration which is primarily a balance issue or low torque vibration in the shaft which is much more complex.

Since you mention grinding, this very well might be torque vibration because it can leave an undesireable grinding pattern in the finished workpiece.

Please advise which of these you are referring to.
