Simatic S7 - 200 Diagnostics / tests ?

Ive got a box of Simatic s7 - 200's, whats the best way to test them? I've got STEP 7 and can connect to them ok, is there a piece of code I can upload and run on them to perform a diagnostic to check everything is working ok ? Or is there some other utility I can use ?

Any advice would be helpfull.

To program S7-200 you need Step7-Microwin (not Step7 prof. for S7-300/400).

To check the PLC select the menu "PLC" - "PLC information". It returns the PLC data and last errors.

To get familiar with it read the 1h/2h manuals.

No experience of these things so wasnt sure if the PLC would report on internal hardware errors.
Now for a day of wiping and checking !
