PLC Set up

Fred,

You only need 1 PLC, and it would cost you about $300 US for a PLC and some test switches and lights.

Or you can do a search on "Classic Ladder" and download a simulator for free.

Just noticed the date of the first post, I think we've been had.

Doug,

No, you haven't been "had"! Worthwhile information was exchanged. This is only because of an obsession of mine. I have a belief that every post on this forum should receive at least one reply. That is why I routinely go to "Advanced Search, and look for posts in the last month that received "At Most 0 replies", and try to answer as many as I can.

Is this the link for this Classis Ladder that you mentioned? It looks useful, but Linux operating system is needed.

I don't think it was an April Fool's joke, since he asked the question twice at different times. There were a lot of other posts on that day, since the world did not come to a stop!

AB used to have a Micrologix and starter software for $100.
My Square D Dist. dropped off a Twido pack PLC and software for free.
