Greetings,

Has anyone used a macro in RSLogix to enhance the search and replace functionality? For example, replace a series of addresses.

If anyone has some example code on how to do this, it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

I did not know that it is possible to write Macro commands in RSLogix.

Possible it is...my knowledge of it is limited!

It is possible to write macros in RSLogix. I've heard of people write a macro to do a search and replace of a series of addresses. I just haven't found out how yet!

Its not macros, just the capabilities of the find and replace function; it can take wild cards. Its in the pull-down menu (i forgot what its called; find and replace? something along those lines) you can replace all occurences of n7:* with n15:* and at the same time move the symbols and comments. Works very very well.

RSLogix Pro is VBA enabled and you can create macros, but only in Pro.
