communication resources settings in S7

hi there

If we need to connect 11 drives(MM440) to a S7300 series CPU through profibus and 3 OP via MPI then which lowest end PLC we can go for in this series?
313C-2DP has 8 communication resources,1 is for PG(default value),1 for OP (default value),4 for S7 basic communication.

Will this PLC work? Also what determines the settings of parameter "S7 basic communication" ?

Hi manmeetvirdi.

Profibus DP slaves does not count in the number of used connections.
Only the 3 OP's will use connections.
So the 313C-2DP will be OK in this matter.
