Hi to everyone.
Any expert who could explain to me the principle of an absolute encoder and how can I connect it to AB PLC?

In most cases you will use a HSC (High Speed Counter) module, I think with AB this may be HSCE.

WOW, I sounded like I knew what I was talking about in that post. What are the odds I could do that again?

I am not 100% sure, but I don't think that you could use the HSCE with an absolute encoder. It works great with and incremental, but not absolute.
