WinCC confirm before writing bit

I have set up an open button and then I would like to press a confirm button before writing the bit. I am new to WinCC and cannot see the instruction or way to do this in their standard set. Please - if anyone knows how in the standard set or in C to do this - let me know.

You can always create your own confirmation window that has a Yes, No or Cancel button and have your initial button when clicked calling the new window for the confirmation.

Also, you can create a message/pop up box. I included the link to Siemen's website discussing the logic to create one:
