Has anybody had any experiences using the Micrologix 1500 series with the CompactLogix Devicenet scanner card 1769-SDN? Good? Bad? Ugly?

I got an app coming up that looks like a good fit, and this setup has been available for a few years now. I'm looking for some feedback on how robust and easy to set up.

Thanks!

TM

Ive used the 1769-SDN card several times, but always with a CompactLogix system, never with a 1500. However, I don't have any complaints or gotchas to warn you about with the card. One very minor irk is that unlike the 1756-SDN card, you cannot configure the card over your connection to the processor. You will need a RS232 to devicenet adaptor for configuring the card - fortunately the adaptor does work with a USB-RS232 converter.
