It's a phonetic coincidence. The software utility is called "Desklock" because it locks the desktop.

When I joined A-B, the ControlLogix was just coming out and I wondered aloud in a technical meeting if the Company had just a little too much affection for Frederik Pohl.

"Get it? Twos, Threes, Fives, Gateways ? Um, maybe you guys haven't read that book."

Hehe... I have the first season on DVD.... Good backround noise when I'm playing computer games. I'll pick up the next set one of these months.
