CLX connection to SLC via ControlNet

Trying to perform scheduled ControlNet connection between 1747-SCNR/A FW Rev 1.4 and 1756-L55/A !756-M12/A Revision 12.25. Following example in App. Note A20389. RSLogix 5k version 12 1756-CNB 5.044 Build 030.



Created generic profile for the 1747-SNCR per the App Note. When finished the Module Properties- Module Info dialogue box shows "Status = Faulted" and "Module Identity: Mismatch".



RSnetworx for Controlnet 4.11 shows both nodes on the network. View > Connection Status in Scanlist Configuration Tool shows the connection as "Connection open is pending"

The error means what it says; the configured connection to the 1747-SCNR doesn't match the actual identity of the device at that node on the network. Maybe with a Generic module it can't match the identities.

Try turning off Electronic Keying on the connection.
