RSLinx Dropout with NET-ENI cards (multiple)

I have an ethernet NW setup with 7 Micro 1500's running NET-ENI cards, and two SLC 5/05's with DNET on everything. Problem is, our Gateway server (Windows 2003 server SW) is dropping off RSLINX every now and again.

Any suggestions? I know that the NET-ENI's are only capable of 2IN and 2OUT physical connections, but the dropoff is not consistent.

Am considering converting all the systems to run off of an additional 5/05 but that is $$$$
