Thanks for the reply. I thought you could have more PID loops, but the software would only support 8. I haven't programmed that many in s7-200 software, but are presses have an open loop drying system now and the the higher up would like to have a closed loop system. With that said I would need 12 PID loops.

Sorry as far as I know, 8 is the limit. Unless you connect one more cpu via ppi? But this will not be a popular suggestion.
