Believe it or not, but if you're only working with S7-300, then you can get the soft for free at this location. You have to register, but that's completely free of charge. The only cost involved is the telecommunication cost to download this 207MB file.
If you're looking for software to program S7-200 or both S7-300/400 then I suggest you turn to the people mentioned in S7Guy's post or my previous post.
