S7-200 variable declaration

I am using S7-224 CPU for one of my projects. My application involves same logic many times, so i am using function block by decalring variales. I want to know if we can declare Timer as local or global variable.
Can any one help in thsi matter?

Do you want to use function block with timers more than once ?

Yes, I will be using a logic which has 5 timers. thsi logic will be used for 5 different filter.
