Dear PLC Experts,
We have Omron CPM-20CDR-A-Vi PLC with NT2S-SF122B-EV2 MMI.
I want to do some modification in machine logic, can I connect simple RS232 cable to MMI's remaining port to communicate or required some converter?

I will guess that you have a CPM1 or CPM1A with only a peripheral port.

You can not connect to the HMI port. That is only for programming the HMI.

You will need either a CPM1-CIF01 converter and this cable or a CQM1-CIF02 cable.
