Hello!

One question...

This is what happens:

I configure my hardware configurator, save and compile it, and then I download it to the CPU.
After it is downloaded and the CPU is in STOP because I have still not downloaded my program, I go ONLINE. No problem, it is showing the different states in each slot etc.....Everything is okay.

But if I afterwards shut down Simatic, then I open it back up, open up Harware configurator and try to go ONLINE again, I get this dialog:

Differences ONLINE/Offline

Module Cause
CPU 315-2 DP System Data Differ

Your saved version of the configuration differs from the one in the plc.

I have seen this dialog many times before, but in this case it does not make any sence to me. Because I went ONLINE to the plc right before I shutdown Siamtic, but when I open it back up and goes ONLINE, then I get this. I have not done any modifications in between....

Anybody got an answer to enlighten me

Thank you very much :)

regards Andreas

Hei Andreas.

When you edit the HW configuration, notice the project name, is it the same as the offline project name in Simatic Manager ?

I suspect that somehow the HW config isn't saved to the right project.
