A problem with SIMATIC S7-300, CPU 314 - 6ES73141AG130AB0

Hello.

This is the last order number for the SIMATIC S7-300, CPU 314: 6ES73141AG130AB0
CPU WITH MPI INTERFACE,
INTEGRATED 24V DC POWER SUPPLY,
96 KBYTE WORKING MEMORY,
MICRO MEMORY CARD NECESSARY.

The problem is that Step7 V5.3 does not recognises that CPU and requires a 2 MB MMC in order to update the PLC firmware.
I don't need to buy so large MMC. What can I do: updates, hotfixes, upgrading to Step7 V5.4 2006?

Try to update the HW catalog...
In Hardware > Options > Install HW Updates
Maybe there's an update for CPU314, you'll need...

Did you tried to install hardware updates? It's located in HW Config -> Options.
It's not clear, did you tried to download to PLC or to create project with this CPU only?

There is no firmaware update for this model of CPU314, it's the newest CPU314. You can download HW catalog update from Siemens and then you can find CPU in your Step7 catalog. You don't need memmory card with capacity of 2MB, but this CPU (like other new S7-300's) requires MMC for operation, you cannot use this CPU without MMC.

Actually,

To update the firmware, a MMC with at least 2MB capacity is required. This is only needed for the operating system update, afterwards you can put the smaller MMC back in for normal operation. I have a 2MB S7-300 MMC and a 4MB S7-400 Memory Module with my USB prommer I use solely for upgrading firmware.

Hello,

where can I find the HW-catalog update-file for the CPU 6ES73141AG130AB0.
I have follow software:
1° Step7 lite V3.0 with SP1
2° Step7 V5.2 with SP2
