Hi Hardcore Hadware Experts,
I am using a S7-414 PLC with 16 chanel AI card type 6ES7-631-7QH00-0AB0. With least integration time of 2.5 millisecs, it takes 5 millisecs to update
a channel. So 80 Millisecs to acquire 16 channel data. The cycle time of the PLC is 8 millisecs.
Which AI card can give me a resonse of 10 or at most 20 millisecs for all
channels ? I want to use it replace an obsolete Siemens R-30 Computer system which has data acquisition time of 20 millisecs. The computer controls
the hydraulic cylinder operation in Hot Rolling Mill AGC.
I require 12 channels having the fast response. Another 16 channels can be slow with 80 to 100 millisecs throughput.
