How to search inputs or outputs where used in the S7 programs

I am novish in siemens S7. So trying to learn. I want to know if there is any way to find out where one input is used in blocks in a project. I know all the input and outputs are symbolised in Symbol table. But i donot how to search where it is used in the blocks? Anything search or like that available? Also how to find out one of the software coil contact how many times are used in the projects?

Right click on the variable in question, then select Go To, then Location from the drop down menus. If the reference data doesn't yet exist it will have to be created so you may have to wait a few minutes the first time you do it.

How about using the cross reference? click on "Blocks" in your project and then "Options" on the task bar at the top, then "reference data", then "display". You can change the filter. By default, you will see Inputs, outputs and memory areas. If you want to look at PIWs, PQWs or Data Blocks and Data words, just change the filter.
