Is there an instruction for string compare mode in SLC5/05? cos I wanna compare two descriptions.

ASR = Ascii string compare.

What do you mean by compare descriptions?

but ascii string compare address must be a ST type. My string is store in A file. I get the string (just a description or name) from scada. but i need to equal these two strings which i get from scada.

But Strings in SLC´s has to be in ST Files ! Or in what files do you put your Scada DATA ???
