I have a toshiba t2e plc with processor 234e with optional 485 port and have been unsucessful trying to get the tpds software to talk through an external lantronix device server converting the 485 to ethernet. However, we have been able to get it to work with the 224 processor. Does anybody have any experience with this or know the difference between communication on the 224 processor vs. the 234e processor? Do I need any terminating resistors anywhere?
