I have a A-B 1794-OF4I module. In the ladder logic, what range of values is there that will command it to go from 4 to 20 ma of output? I believe the manual says 2's compliment, 0000 to 7878, I am really not familiar with this.

What is it you are not familiar with? Twos compliment binary numbers? or is it that the number 7878 seems odd? Or module configuraiton in general?

The value 7878 as given in the manual is a Hexadecimal value. This equates to 30840 decimal, and 0111100001111000 in Twos compliment binary. Two's compliment is how signed binary numbers are formatted in the PLC.

I believe that the module ouputs 21.5 mA at 32767 so you use 30840 (7878h) to output 20mA.
