New RSL5k

Hello all,

I´ve got a new RSLogix5000 (V15) and after installation I wanted
to activate the licence.

In the brochure within the software package there I read that
I have to install and run the FactoryTalk Activation Tool to
get computers Host ID which will be needed at the Rockwell Software
Activation website.

But I cannot find this Tool on the delivered RSL5k CD.

Any suggestions?

for Ver 15 there not Factory talk activation still it is floppy activation use master floppy to activate the same

Yeah, I found that out too some minutes ago.

But when I´m trying with master floppy it´s saying:
Activation file may already be in use by another application.

What does that mean?

close all rockwell software including rslinx & try mov the same

Yeah I thought that already that this could be a reason.

But it´s another problem I think. Also after restart of PC

it is still the same:

check the rslinx running near the clock if not remove the rslinx running as service
