Which plc?? you definetely need to supply some more info

Are you talking about trying to use an InTouch indirect tag in a trend? I don't think that's possible.

Please explain what you are trying to do or why you want to use an indirect tag in a trend so that we can help you find a way around it.

I trend indirect tags in wonderware on my loop tuning popup windows. That is a real time trend though. I dont think there would be a reason to do it on a Historical trend due to the fact that the pens are already "basically" indirect. I think that is why there is no option to log data on that type of tag.

actually i have 23 machines,i have to do 23 machines parameters in
the hist trend page,at a time i have to see every machine parameters.....so i have seperated each machine trend...
eg:if i click a button called machine1 >>machine 1 hist page should open,and display the particular tags of machine1..
if i click machine 2 same screen should open but in the trend
machine2 tags should come....
similarly my requirement is same format should open and only change
the tags in the hist trend

Use "HTSetPenName" to assign the pens when the button is pressed.
