What is the easiest and least expensive to connect a profibus with 9 siemens drives and 2 ET-200S I/O networks to a Controllogix plc?

Hello moltra;

We use either Wodhead (SST)'s SST-PFB-CLX-RLL Profibus-DP master,
http://www.woodhead.com/products/automation/networkinterface/PLCBackplaneModules/#2113
or Prosoft's MVI56-PDPMV1
http://www.prosoft-technology.com/content/view/full/8109
Both have about the same capcitioes, now that Woodhead has upgraded its Profibus master scanner. They both integrate easily in Logix 5000 (they both offer Ladder logic files to be inserted in your program, and UDTs to setup communications)and they both give you access to the same amount of data from the field. They each have their own configuration software included with their offer, easy to use.
For pricing, you would have to look into their offerings in your part of the world.
Hope this helps,
Daniel Chartier
