Can WinCC sit on different PC with the Interace Card?

I am used to Wonderware where I used to install the IO Server at PC which with the installed interface card (e.g Siemens CP1613 + Simatic Net Drivers), and multiple Wonderware on a seperate machine/PC. I am wondering whether can WinCC have the same architecture?
