RS Logix 500

It's been a very long time since I've worked with RS Logix 500. I have version 6 build 20. I would like to get a micrologix 1100 and am wondering if I will need to update my software, or can someone point me to a link for the update assuming there is no cost.

I think you will have to update.
I think it takes version RSLogix 7.0 and RSLinx 2.5

You need a Rockwell Automation support contract to download new versions of RSLogix 500. The first releases to support the MicroLogix 1100 were RSLogix 500 version 7.00 and RSLinx 2.50.

The current releases are RSLogix 500 version 7.10 and RSLinx 2.51.
