I have 5 power supply units that were accidentally connected to 240 VAC, when the internal switch settings were set to 120VAC, so they have shorted internally. Deos anybody have experience with this occurence and how to repair the units, possible it is a simple fused or component that has blown...

There are quite a few different power supply units built by Allen-Bradley. Can you post a part number ?

It might be just a fuse but you never know till you troubleshoot little bit. If you need them repaired you can send them to Perfection Servo Hydraulics. PSHINC.COM. 1-630-628-2800.

Hi TSK,

One of the reps from Underwoods Electrical came in to see me some weeks ago, they have now started repairing PLC components. They are primarily Siemens orientated but i've been assured they will look at all makes of equipment.

Hello everybody - thanks for all the info...it was very very useful....I looked at the sites and made some calls....!! Seems I have to post the goods off for a speedy repair....definitely not a fuse....:
