Hey,

As u all know, the latest PLC's from siemens have MMC memory cards.

Now, the sinamics G120 also works with such cards.

Question:

Does siemens use all the same cards for their drives and PLC's and can u buy other MMC's cheaper.

Are the MMC's from siemens better against heating ?

Are the MMC's specially formatted by siemens so that we can't do the job with other MMC's

just some questions about MMC

I think tha DeltaLogic and Helmholz have Siemens compatible MMC cards (Micro Memory Cards).
For sure you cannot use standard MMC cards (MultiMedia Cards) in S7 PLCs.
You CAN use standard MMC cards in panels though.
I dont know about Sinamics.
