Hello,
In one of my application, I use Facon FBs PLC, Tek Drive VFD and Weintek MMI in the following fashion. PLC - VFD in modbus, PLC other PLCs in high speed link and PLC MMI through serial port. So in order to debug / alter the program I have to remove the MMI link each time.
Can I use weintek MMI in the Modbus same to VFD ? The VFD supports only 9600 baud, 8E2 port settings. Also in the weintek MMI configration, I have a Facon driver and so I directly address the registers. In the settings, will it work if I select RS485 2W and baud rate same to the Modbus ? Shall I have to address the Modbus table in PLC the modbus 8bit address or the dedicated facon addressing ??
