I can't get a PLC Direct DL06 to respond via serial link. The RX1 light flashes, but the TX1 does not.

Is there any way to hard reset this beast?

Thanks.

Only a software reset. Do you have the correct cable. The RS232 requires a jumper between rts and cts. Otherwise a protocol or address failure. Use the auto detect function of Directsoft.

Got it!

Thank you for the response. The problem was the driver for the USB serial port adapter. I did find out the hard way about RTS/CTS jump, though!
