Ge9030 Pbm200

Hi all,

I am using a GE 9030 /CPU311 and a PBM200 Profibus module. I have a distint blinking patten on the PBM LEDs but cant find any info in the manual to troubleshoot, i don't know what te pattern means.

(LED Pattern)

COM
green,green,red,red,green,green,green,green

SYS
red

COM
green,green,red,red,green,green,green,green

SYS
red




This pattern repeats itself, and there is nothing coming up in the fault table?

Any ideas?

I think you'll need to call tech support. I posted a similar question regarding blink codes and error codes over at the GE Fanuc forum.

It seems that they don't publish anything to help you interpret them.

Did the module work properly in the past or is this a new installation?

According to my Compatability Matrix the IC693PBM200 is not supported on the IC693CPU311. It needs a IC693CPU313-P or better.
