I am getting all my lights to come on in sequence I believe. My problem now is it only goes through one cycle of lighting. It is not resetting. I don't believe I have the correct congiguration of sensor switches either.

Hi Dave, I thought I had done so in the text. When I upload the file on the sites message board it accepts it but just to be safe I also highlight and paste it to the message

Reread geniustraining's post #7 in this thread. Over and over and over again.

Your zip file is empty of any other files.

Thanks for letting me know the file was empty. I have tried everything now, I have compressed the file to a zip, I have copied it to jpeg and nothing seems to work. This truly is a weak upload site, there is no need for it to be this difficult. I am working off of RSLOGIC PRO 500. The only way it allows me to save the ladder is to save as a picture, but this site cant take the file size due to being too large. That is when I put it into a zip. That didnt even take the transfer into the zip file

This site is extremely easy to upload to. Go get a Free copy of CutePDF or PDF995 and print your logix file to a PDF.

There is no need to slam the site because you don't know what you are doing. If you look around you will see a lot of files successfully uploaded here every day.

I am working off of RSLOGIC PRO 500. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but you are using the LogixPro 500 Simulator program, a totaly DIFFERENT software program than RSLogix 500. Your LogixPro program is a simulator, and as such has many good features, but you cannot program a PLC with it. With the REAL RSLogix 500, you can indeed program an acutal PLC.

It doesn't matter much, except you will get more (and better) help by being honest and upfront. There are those here who can help you with EITHER LogixPro OR RSLogix, but it will really help if you figure out which program you have, and also realize that IT IS NOT RSLOGIX. The "RS" in RSLogix stands for Rockwell Software, and LogixPro is not a Rockwell product, although I think there was some close cooperation on Rockwell's part to allow use of the RSLogix Help files in LogixPro.

Everytime you call it RSLOGIC PRO 500, I can see potential help tuning out and turning away to someone else who at least knows the name of the software s/he is using.
