I've had the same situation couple weeks ago. I've ended up to ask vendor about user names he was using. Then I recreated these user names on my PC. I was told that when you restore application there are some prompt that is asking you something on this topic.
I've tried to restore the same application again, but since users already have been recreated I haven't seen any prompts.
I was told that RS View security is very tightly related to the Windows accounts/users/security.
