Hi, I troll these forums almost every day trying to pick stuff up about PLC's. I'm an electrician with great interest in PLC's and hope of being a full time PLC programmer some day.
I've written a few programs so far eg. wash robots for boats and factories, pumpcontrol for a drydock, alarmsystems, aux. engine control on boats and stuff like that.
Up untill now I have only worked with Omron and Mitsubishi - mostly Omron, but we are switching to AB in wich I'm attending a course in Sweden soon. I already have all the software installed on my PC and am trying stuff out.

Anyways... My question is:

I often read about all the different types of communication that is involved with PLC's eg. RS232, RS485, DH+ and so on...
I have already found the documentation on this site about RS232 in the "Learn PLC's" section but i want more!!! :)
So can anybody please direct me to some literature about the different comunication methods, a site or a pdf or even a previous post (I couldn't find any that I thought was relevant, I probably don't know what to look for).

Any help will be appreciated :)

Jesper
