RS View Studio - Is it easy to use with Siemens S7

How difficult is RS View Studio to use to grab tags from a Siemens
S7. And is it difficult to place tags in the same application with Siemens and AB. I have only used AB devices in the RS View projects
that I have done.

I'm sorry maybe I need to rephrase this question.
I am also in a S7 vs ControlLogix debate. I did 2 projects
recently ,using AB and RS View .I would like to keep using RS View,
but we do have a few Siemens S7's around .My opinion is ,is to keep
using the RS View Studio to design screens with AB and Siemens S7.
But,to keep the AB equipment in our plant I need to prove that
RS View Studio will easily talk with Siemens S7. Is this a difficult thing to do. I know there is a hot thread going right
now S7 vs ControlLogix.

Dead easy. RSView primarily uses OPC to connect to whatever OPC Data Server you are using. For the S7's you simply need a suitable OPC server. A few moments googling will get you some, or these guys have an excellent reputation as specialists in providing OPC Servers:
