Using encoder with 1746-IB16 module

Hi guys,

I'd like to to ask I can use the 1746-IB16 with a rotary encoder from Omron E6B2-CWZ62.

It's just for a training kit, I do not require very high accuracy position.

Hi,

That's the only encoder I have from old projects, so if can use then I can save the cost of getting a new one.
