Hi,

I have a big problem...
icon6.gif
I can't connect wonderware InTouch scada with Omron CQM1H plc via cx server OPC?!!

Can somebody help me???

I have defined a plc and points in cx OPC server, and I see them in InTouch, but when I define a tag in Intouch and try to animate for example some discrete tag, it doesn't work...
Maybe I made a mistake about defining an access name, node name, topic name, or something else. Can somebody explain me in details how can I connect Intouch with plc via OPC? Or how should I define these names or tags?
The Wonderware InTouch v7.11 scada is running on PC where I have installed XP and I have connected Omron CQM1H plc (CPU021) via rs232 port...
If somebody can help, I will be grateful!
Here is my email address: [email protected]
ICQ number: 279765373

Thanks

....and I see them in InTouch...

What do you mean by this? How can you see them?

Have you tried using Wonderware's FSGateway as a link to your OPC server? InTouch can't communicate OPC directly. FSGateway bridges that gap.

I know nothing about Omron PLC's, so that is where my advice ends.

Good Luck,
Jeff
