Hi All

PV300 and MicroLogix 1200 setup DH485, does anyone know if its possible to use the RTC in the panelview to trigger events in the PLC?

Thanks in advance Elux

Yes, what you will have to do is transfer the time values (i.e. hours minutes seconds) to integer registers in your PLC, then use data compare logic (i.e. GRT, LES, EQU) to trigger actions at specific times.

Go to Application Settings in PanelBuilder32 and look at the Status Tags area. You can assign any or all of the tags shown to PLC registers and the values will be continually transferred when your program is running.

Hi kolyur Thanks for the reply, now that I know it's possible to use the RTC values, I can start to experiment using he functions you kindly provided, without this info I could have spent days trying to do somthing that was impossible, thank again ... Elux
